Dr. Jeremy Book

Dr. Jeremy Book

Dr. Jeremy Book

Dr. Jeremy Book grew up with a passion to be the greatest baseball player that he could be. He pursued his dream and had the opportunity to play 5 years of professional baseball in the St. Louis Cardinals organization. It was this life experience that sparked his new passion for Chiropractic Healthcare. Dr. Jeremy Book realized fairly quickly that there was something very vital missing in the delivery of healthcare for athletes and more importantly, the working people. Not much was done to enhance and optimize the body’s ability to heal and regulate itself. Chiropractic fills this role in healthcare.

Dr. Jeremy Book has made it his mission to serve people utilizing the Chiropractic principles to the best of his ability. He has been very active in the community serving on two boards for nonprofit organizations to educate and raise awareness for healthy living in the communities he has lived in.

Dr. Jeremy Book grew up in the St. Louis, MO area where he met his wife, Angela, and began raising his 3 children, Calista, Dalton, and Elias. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in 2008. He practiced Chiropractic for three and a half years in the St. Louis area before moving to Scarborough, Maine to further advance his career in Chiropractic and to satisfy his outdoor, active lifestyle. Dr. Jeremy loves to spend time with his children and run on trails with his wife, Angela.

Dr. Rachel Fogarty

Dr. Rachel Fogarty grew up dreaming of becoming a doctor. She was working in a medical office and obtaining credits to apply to physician assistant school when she realized the allopathic model of medicine wasn’t right for her. It was also at this time she began seeing a local chiropractor. She discovered how practice members in his office, including her, had much more positive experiences and outcomes. When she learned the story of chiropractic she knew she had found her calling.

She is a Maine native who graduated from the University of Maine Orono with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She received her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2016 and graduated as Valedictorian of her class. While at Palmer, she traveled to Manaus, Brazil with fellow students and doctors for a clinic abroad trip. Together, in 7 days, the team had the privilege of adjusting over 2500 locals.

Dr. Rachel loves working with patients of all ages, but is especially passionate about serving children. Rachel maintains active membership with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is currently taking courses to become a certified pediatric chiropractor. She is certified in the Webster Prenatal Technique- a specific adjustment for pregnant women, which helps to normalize pelvic biomechanics and ensure the most comfortable pregnancy and labor possible.

She is thrilled to be back in her home state of Maine with her husband Jake. They are enjoying newlywed life together in Portland and spend their free time in the outdoors hiking, camping, playing tennis, and golfing.
